R for Replay

Now Playing - Too Much (Club Remix) - Crown J & Seo In Young

I think that as you may have noticed, i`ve scrapped the P`s, they annoyed me and scrutinised my brain.

Gosh, what is with people and the acronym lol?

I dislike the many uses of the word.

1) 'lol' as a conversation filler/killer
Addressing this issue of the word lol, not as a 'laugh out loud' but as a word in agreement is evil. Why BOTHER replaying if you`re not going to give a decent reply?

2) lol...
When you laugh, you LAUGH OUT LOUD, not laugh out loud... It`s a humourous thing, that`s why you open your mouth and laugh, not open you mouth and given an awkward half smile/half laugh to be polite.

3) lol?
This use of the word makes me the most angry. The use of it in this sense degrades me. You don`t laugh with a question mark. If it`s funny you lol, if i`ts not, you change topic and move on. What if it was just a comment on somethign with the intent on not being remotely funny, You don`t "lol?" and make everyone feel like an idiot. Same with if someone cracks a mega lame joke, you lol?-ing doesn`t help anything. By doing this, you degrade the person! Tellign them that you get it, and it`s not funny, you could easily have just changed topic end of discussion. Or laughed at the person, not the joke.

Gosh, and I could go on, but I`m so exhausted and tired already.

This is all thanks to my affectionately labelled 'brickboy' whose vocabulary consists and is limited to lol?, lol...,yeh, thanks, true and nm.

You`d think that such a brainless lemming wouldn`t exist in the form of a human attending school , but no he just proved society`s level is dropping.

Like quoted from conversations on msn, brickboy is like one of those frustraing skilltesters, it`s a 1 in 800 chance baby. So stop wasting your time and money on that stupid thign and get onto somethign liek the crocodile bashings; soemthign you and can win at by cheating =D

Gah, i`m tired night.

P is for Pain

Now Playing - This Time - Wonder Girls

So, exams finished.

What can I say, over the period of time that i haven`t written...so much has happened.

To really summarised it all up; I`ve lived.

Exams have become a predominant time in my life; the stress and stress is quite unecessary. I have a tendency, as I have realised over the last fortnight, that I stress too much and do nothing about it. As my mum says, I am "All talk and no action."

I swear from the word exam being mentioned; I was stressed. I planned and (surprisingly kept to) going to the State Library every single day. Let`s say that if I was to allocate periods of time and break down my exam schedule, librarying would take up a three-eighths of my time. That`s A LONG TIME. And to my lovely friends who managed to put up with me for the duration of that "studying" (mainly composed of distraction); THANK YOU. That is Xue, Shona, Sophia and Jackie.

GAHH. cutting this short, I have to go now.

I hate these unfinished things.

P is for Personal Discovery

Now Playing: I`m Sorry - Gummi feat. TOP

Wow, it seems like such a long time ago I updated.

Well there`s alot of stuff to keep on about. There was Outward Bound and then the start of the holidays. More on OB than holidays, seeing as now i`m stuck in the middle of a flu period.

So OB...an experience I don`t think I can forget. There were times I loved, and there were times I hated, but on reflection I think it`s something that is good for personal discovery (excuse the cliched term) but very challenging at the same time.

What do you get when you have a teacher, 17 pc girls, a crazy instructor by the name of Ned in the middle of nowhere for 10 days?

That`s the essence of Outward Bound.

My camp group consisted of moi, Nomez, Emhalse, Sam, Bry, Caitlin, Ellie G, Steph Sims, Lara, Anna, Sophie G, Nikki, Dim, Nell, Sarah, Clare and Georgia. With the excepion of 2 people at certain times, I think I have an AWESOME
time with everyone. I really got to know alot more about the people, which was great becasue I wouldn`t usually talk so much to them in school becasue of social cliques or classes. I have so many good memories of camp, my favourite would be the night everyone just looked up at the stars. There was a rocky plateau and a clearing, so perfect stargazing time. But overall the landscape durign the whole camp was beautiful; whether it was at the top of Woolbale Hill (Or the Mt Everest of Walpole as we like to call it) or the scenic walk near the coast of and on Mandalay Beach. The land was so diverse; you could get the strectches of sand dunes, the hike through pure hilly bush, coastal areas and everything. I swear it was amazing how beautiful it was. Enough of me babbling, you have to get out there to appreciate and know what I mean.

I have to admit that it wouldn`t have been enjoyable without the people there. To have Naomi and Emma there for support was great and Anna, that girl is great. Whenever it was getting depressign throughout hiking, her singing or reciting of Disney favourites
or musical numbers from Sweeney Todd were just a delight. And that memorable asian hug, ants in my pants or 'prostitues are smarter cuz they get paid" was fantastic; no doubt a winner comeback. The HEY EMMA, HEY WHAT?, INTRODUCE YOURSELF, NO WAY, INTRODUCE YOURSELF, OKAY, 1 2 3 4 5 MY NAME`S EMMA AND I SAY HI, 6 7 8 9 10 NOW BACK IT UP AND MEET MY FRIEND was stuck in my brain for ages. Nikki and Emma`s version of that cheer in washing machine and microwave and the Jesus dance was memorable too.
But most fun would have to be the last night when Naomi, Sam, Bry, Em and I had a psycho night before sleeping. Whether it was the *cue low voice* "Hey Schnookums" or "I`d tap that", the laughter generated from Sam was unbelievable. Even worse was the Bush greetings, her laughter was so....O__O Normal people, when they laugh too much get into the silent double over laughing.
Sam just gets louder. o___o

Surviving dirt, fatigue and rain were only part of the deal. Bugs were a huge factor during camp; it was like we got attacked by midgies, mosquitoes, ticks and worst of all, giagntic mutant ants. Well, not he mutant but, but they were unnaturally big. An unfortunate incident was a "NIKKI DON`T LOOK" ants-in-my-pants incident. When ants bite your ass and they are in your pants. it`s a bitch. and it`s not pleasant when you have to half dack to apply stingos and everyones attention is drawn onto you as well as their million headlights, laughing at you. Looking back, it was hilarious, but humiliating at the same time.

Most fo the time, the food during camp was good, having lovely variation of pasta classics; carbonara stir fry, beachside carbonara, tortillas etc. the list goes on, while the addiction to the donut jam and vegemite was (no comment) o____________o Unfortunately we did have or share of bad food; the nights with rice were a disaster; us having the delight of risotto de carbon; a blend of uncooked and burnt rice simmered with a stirfry of well cooked vegetables. A generous helping of soya sauce to garnish also.

The most fun part was the journey back to Walpole and then to Perth. When we descended onto Walpole, it was as if bogan invasion had occurred. There were girls in dirty flannel shirts and camo pants with dishevelled hair running around Walpole, flooding the businesses with grunts of I WANT THAT ONE. I had a generous helping of fat while I was there; chips, vanilla slice, sausage roll and an eclair. Oh yummmmm.

Unfortunately that`s when the adventure more or less ends, as the return back to civilisation brought the deferalisation of Cassii and she was slap bang back to normal within a week.

Nights as I gotta go now.

P is for Palette

Now Playing - Fiesta (Daishi Dance Remix) - Daishi Dance Vs Clazziquai

Woo. I LOVE LIFE.

It`s amazing, Im` on a complete high right now about how everything is going.

I don`t care that I have a stack of homework to do, or that life sucked for me a week ago.

EVERYTHING HAS BEEN GREAT.

It`s funny hwo things can change within a small amount of time.

I was talking to Jackie on MSN, complaining how life sucked, and I was in a bad mood, she also agreeing. I listed all the reasons I was unhappy, and usrpirisingly, within 5 minutes, it all changed. I saw how small the world was, discovering new connections, my family suddenly turned happy and good, eating lychee (small things make me happy) and planning of stuff for the weekend.

And then it got good. Wednesday afternoon after my physics progress test, whihch turned out to be better than expected, I went with Jackie to the State library and met some smart person called Edward, who helped with my EPW. YAY. G&T out of the way and FINI~ Got shouted bbt <33>

Thursday after school had a Life drawing workshop and did raelly well with my works. Experiemtnign with pastels and charcoal did wonders for me. Funny moments with the discussions of biscuits still stay in my mind "Stop beign racist towards the orange biscuits! You know, if I was to be reincarnated into a biscuit, I wouldn be an orange one!" The question still stands; why are the orange biscuits always the last ones left,a nd why am I the only one who eats them?

Firday, had the day off school cuz of mid term break, so I went out to Caro withNaomi. I suprisingly had lot sin common with Naomi in terms of clothing likes, despite us wearing completely different thigns. Got 5 buck sunnies from Ice (SALE =3) and fell in lvoe with hoodies and cardigans. Later we went and watched Juno. I WANT TO MARRY MICHAEL CERA. He`s reall charismatic in Juno as Paulie Bleaker. Tanfastic liners in the film, "They have fingers!", "All babies want to get borned!" or "this is one doodle that can`t be undid, homeskillit". It was a really cute movie, me lving that ending which was sweet as. Ellen Page as Juno was perfect, she suited the role well as a witty smart teenager. And the movie handles the prickly subject of abortion really well in a quirky dry humoured sense. Music was great; I`m so gettign some of those tracks.
Later went hoem and went out AGAIN to watch My Neighbour Totoro by the foreshore as part of the Arts Festival Floatign Films. Was such a cute movie. I love it. >w<>

Saturday morning, me and Fajah went out to buy stuff for OB
>__< *shudder* Later, rushed for the train and met Jackie and Annie on the way to dance in NB. Got bbt from Utopia and saw Tai-Ling like a hobo outside the dance hall. Hobo-ed with her which was fun. Poor kid has a cold and not that much of a happy chappy. Everyone was late for dance and so Tai Ling, me and Hui and Aggie just mucked around and talking about how we like bread so much. To sum that conversation up "Bread is Heaven." Love Hui for working at Brumbys <33 vera =")">

Got home and got ready to go to Tinga's bday. Rocked up, not knowing anyone by Rach and Tinga himself, so that was...interesting. Spazzed over various celebrities with new people Jada, Shirley and Jodie. Tinga DOES NOT look like Rain. The party itself was alritte taking into the accoutn that I didn`t know anyone. Talked to Shirley alot and found out she`s insanely good at piano. Jodie`s a funny girl, so high but damn pretty. Another good pianist, forgot his name self learns. SO GOOD. I only really started havign fun when everyone expcet for good pianist guy, rach, Tinga and me were left. There was some Indian guy who was teachign me some Bollywood moves which was fun, but good painist guy is pretty good at dancing, knowing how to do some tricks. Have to practice =) Tinga has an insane music room which has an AWESOME sounds system. I want to LIVE in that room, as it adjoins a really nice balcony. Rich bastard =D But good tiems, good times.

So that leads me to today. I feel so happy at the moment, like as if my heart is about to burst open beacue there`s too much happiness. Ask why I have so much happiness? FACEBOOK. Nuff said. I LOVE it. Pictures from Shanghai make me want to go back though. It`s like a constant rucsh of nostalgia evertime I see my dance crew.

This for you guys: I LOVE YOU ALL <33.>

Whether it`s Mushu`s wave picture at Ms Chinatown or everyone excited in costumes from Kang Ding. I`m so happy! It reall does brighten up my day.

I know this is unrelated, but doesn`t give youa rush everytime you experiment with new things, whether it`s a new combination of clothing, the way you eat something differently or using different colours or mediums? I love the stimulation of soemthing new...and I suppose that`s why I`ve called it palette; experiment with different things on your palette of paints to create something special.

So yeah, that`s all from me pretty much.

*peace out.
